Swedish casino games developer NetEnt has announced that its content has gone live in the Spanish iGaming market with CODERE, with free-to-play versions of its games also launching with three casinos in the US.

NetEnt said that a selection of its games had been launched in CODERE’s online casino in Spain, following the signing of a license agreement earlier this year in March. “I am very pleased that we are now live with CODERE,” said Enrico Bradamante, MD of NetEnt Malta and chief of European market operations. “They have a strong brand name in a market with interesting growth potential and I look forward to this partnership. “I am confident that our award-winning games will be much appreciated by their online players in Spain.”

The supplier also confirmed that its games had gone live in the US through its partnership with free-to-play platform provider GAN. The first roll-out has been completed with NetEnt’s games launching on GAN’s Simulated Gaming portal with Empire City Casino in New York, San Manuel Digital in California and Parx Casino in Pennsylvania. “Our launch means that several land-based casinos in the US will now be able to familiarize their player community with NetEnts online casino games ahead of possible state regulations permitting real money Internet gaming,” said Björn Krantz, managing director of NetEnt Americas.

GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit added: “NetEnt represents best-in-class online casino games, which are expected to strongly appeal to GAN’s widening audience of US casino patrons actively engaged in Simulated Gaming.”
